SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS
Born September 10th, 1960, in San Antonio, Texas. Attended Winston Churchill High School here in San Antonio and graduated in 1979. Attended Trinity University, also in San Antonio, and graduated in 1984. I loved coaching football and was a graduate assistant at the University of Texas @ El Paso for one semester and then went the University of North Texas for three semesters. During that time I expanded my teaching fields to include a Social Science Composite teaching certificate. I then went back to my alma mater, Churchill High School for nine years teaching and coaching. After nine years I decided my family was more important to me than my career. I resigned and worked as a manager for a landscape company for 5 years. My love for working with young people got me back into coaching and teaching. I became the Head Football/Athletic Director at a private school in San Antonio. My son decided to attend the same school. For me, the best of both worlds. Family has always been a priority in my life. The third year at this private school, my mom passed away. I stepped down once again and found Central Catholic and have been here ever since. Teaching at a single gender institution has been a blessing for me. The Gurian Institute has helped me become a better teacher and role model for young men.
