Erica Beatty

LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY

Erica Beatty is a Student/Family Transitional Support and Dropout Prevention Specialist for Fayette County Public Schools (FCPS). She has been employed with FCPS for six years and held the positions of Administrative Assistant and Customer Service/Community Relations Specialist. Erica earned a Bachelor of Arts in Human Service & Counseling from Lindsey Wilson College.  She has been working as a mediator with Juvenile Restorative Justice since 2014 and is a certified Prime for Life instructor.

Erica is very passionate about working with young people and helping them prepare for a bright future. In June 2016, she envisioned and started an annual weekend program for girls, “Girls to Women Explosion” in which volunteers assist in preparing the young ladies for higher education and life. She is the proud mother of one daughter who is enrolled at Western Kentucky University. Erica believes in the quote by Maya Angelou “Nothing works unless you do”
