Kristi Dahl


​Kristi Dahl is an experiential learning specialist with a B.S. in Biology and an M.S. in Curriculum Design with a special focus on Science and Field Studies. She has taught in public and private schools in grades K-9. She has also taught at the University level and has mentored and instructed teachers and pre-teacher on science methods and the art of developing an experiential classroom that works for all students.

She created and delivered an outreach science curriculum to rural elementary schools throughout the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem while working at the Teton Science School. She also designed and delivered teacher workshops and adult seminars for people throughout the US.

Kristi served as the Director of the Science Explorers Outreach Program at University of Colorado, Boulder. During her tenure at CU, she created and implemented many hands-on programs including Paleontology, Renewable Energy, The Nature of Light, Oceanography and Wild in the Woods.

As a science specialist, in Boulder, Colorado, Kristi uses much of the Gurian Institute information on brain-based learning to design her classes and workshops. She has had the opportunity to work with many different teaching styles, science materials and content, to explore, observe and discover the mysteries of learning; what excites the learner and engages their brains, bodies and spirits.
