Noelle Roni


Noelle Roni is a Gurian Institute Certified Trainer. It is her goal to use the latest information on brain research and gender difference to help educators inform instruction, better communication and inspire their students. She is passionate about improving students’ motivation, academics, health and outlook on life through an increase in physical activity and grit development.

As a result, Noelle has used her knowledge of brain research, physical activity and social skills education to design the playgrounds at her schools, create active indoor recess choices, develop a before school activity program and train her staff to increase attention, movement and activity within the school day.

Noelle has served in educational roles for over twenty-two years and has successfully taught, counseled and led students and staff. Her experience includes: working in the diverse Seattle School district for thirteen years as a principal, teacher, counselor, trainer and after-school activity coordinator; evaluating charter schools for the Colorado Department of Education’s Schools of Choice Unit; conducting trainings and workshops for the University of Colorado’s Teacher Education Program; leading at Peak to Peak K-12 Charter School for over eight years as the elementary principal with several K-12 roles; and teaching in the Adams 12 School District as a Math Teacher and Reading Interventionist. In addition, Noelle has conducted numerous trainings on active engagement strategies, social skills development and bullying, drug and violence prevention.

In 2002, Noelle earned her Administrative Credentials from the University of Washington (Danforth Leadership Program). In 1994, she graduated with a Masters in Education; Guidance and Counseling from City University, Seattle. She completed her Teacher’s Certification program at the University of Washington in 1992 and is endorsed in Education; Psychology and ELL. In 1990, she graduated with a BA in Psychology from the University of Washington. Since then, Noelle has been an avid learner and continuously takes classes, workshops and webinars on leadership, teaching, specialized populations (Special Ed, TAG, ELL) and brain research.
