Vermelle Greene has been an educator for more than 44 years as a teacher and administrator at the grade school, college and graduate school levels. Her experience extends to the corporate level where she was a Customer Education Representative with the Xerox Corporation. She has presented seminars for numerous organizations including the National Middle Schools Association, the National Association of Elementary School Principals, and the Association of Christian Schools International.
Upon her retirement from Prince George’s County (Maryland) Public Schools, Vermelle went on to become the Founding Principal of S.A.C.R.E.D. Life Academy for Boys from 2001-2015. The school’s innovative curriculum focused on understanding and accommodating the academic, social, developmental, and physical needs of young boys in kindergarten through 8th grade.
Vermelle is an educational consultant and has conducted workshops and online classes for hundreds of teachers and administrators on the east coast and across the country. She currently works as a mentor for new teachers with Charles County Public Schools. She and her husband Vernon have two married children and six amazingly beautiful grandchildren. They live in suburban Maryland, 35 minutes from the Nation’s Capitol.
