Megan Hujik received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio Northern University in Mathematics and Education. She started her career in Toledo Public Schools teaching high school mathematics and then moved to do the same at St. John’s Jesuit High School and Academy, a Jesuit, all boys school. During this time, she also received her Master of Arts degree in School Counseling from the University of Toledo and entered into the role of school counselor in the Academy, grades 6-8. It was here that she was introduced to the Gurian Institute, becoming a certified trainer in 2015.
In her role as school counselor and as a certified trainer, Megan has a passion for learning and advocating for the best educational environment and strategies for the boys in her school and utilizes strategies in her own counseling work, supporting her students’ academic, personal, and social development.
She lives in Whitehouse, Ohio with her husband and two young sons. She feels that the Gurian Institute is a blessing and resource for her own wonder of raising boys.
