THE MINDS OF BOYS AND GIRLS®
Online Course and Parent Coaching
with Dr. Michael Gurian

This online course is divided into 7 Units and 27 sessions of video clips.  The clips are between approximately 7 and 20 minutes in length, depending on the content.  The units, sessions, and clips are presented sequentially, and a power point in PDF form aligns with the sessions.  You can take the course in your own time, as it is convenient for you.

Throughout the course, answers to parents’ questions are attached to practical ideas you can utilize after reading each slide and viewing its video content. Because of this organizational structure, it is not essential that you view each video session and slide in exact order, but we do suggest you work with the sessions in order because new course content grows in some part from previous information and strategies.

A parent might think, “I have girls not boys,” or vice versa, “so why would I take a course that’s partly about the other sex?”  To answer this questions, Michael has made sure to integrate insights on both boys and girls throughout.  Whatever your constellation of kids, each session in the course provides insight and strategies for the whole family, including, also, crucial insights into women and men.

As a course user, you will also be able to register for a coaching session with Michael Gurian so that he can answer your questions and coach in through the parenting journey.

If you are a professional who would like to receive a Certificate of Participation for 6 hours of professional development, please let us know at info@gurianinstitute.com.  We will send you test questions to answer that align with the course and, upon successful completion of the answers, we will send you a Certificate.

“Your content and practical strategies have been life changing for our family. We have boys and girls and you've helped us communicate with both. Because your work is science-based and not just opinion, I trust your methods and feel comfortable applying them. Professionally, too, I have gained important insight into what is happening with boys in America. My wife and I feel armed to tackle child-raising through a very nurturing lens.``
— Carl H, Father and Attorney
