Blake Alderfer

Blake Alderfer is a seasoned educator with over 15 years of experience working in both public and private schools. He currently serves as the Dean of Students and Director of Technology at The Regis School of the Sacred Heart in Houston, Texas, an all-boys Catholic school dedicated to developing the whole child—spiritually, academically, and emotionally. In addition to his leadership roles, Blake also coaches soccer and cross country, helping young men grow through teamwork, discipline, and resilience.
Blake holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computers, and Information Technology, and a Master’s degree in Education. He is a certified Master Teacher and a Gurian Institute Certified Trainer, passionate about applying brain-based strategies to support the learning and development of boys. His work emphasizes the importance of structure, empathy, and engagement in fostering student success.
A native of the greater Philadelphia area, Blake is an avid runner who has completed four marathons. He is a devoted husband and father of two children—a son and a daughter.
