Parkville, Md
I attended Niagara University where I received my Bachelor of Arts and Social Science and my Master of Science in Counseling Education. Before relocating to Baltimore MD, I worked at Bryant and Stratton College in Buffalo NY as an Academic Advisor and Critical Thinking Instructor for 10 years.
Currently I am the Department Chair of School Counseling Golden Ring Middle School with the Baltimore County Public School System. I have spent the past eight years in this role. Prior to working at Golden Ring, I worked two years at Dundalk High School as a Department Chair of School Counseling as well. I spent my first six years at New Town High School as a Professional School Counselor.
I have spent a total of 27 years as an educator, also during my time in Baltimore County public schools I obtained my Advanced Professional Certificate and Organizational Change from Towson University with an Administrator 1, Pupil Personnel Worker and Guidance Counselor endorsement.
In my spare time I became a published author as well as a podcaster. In 2017 I was awarded the Indy legacy award winner for author on the rise. My mission statement in life has always centered around helping others who need assistance in helping themselves. I look forward to learning and growing with the Gurian Institute.
