Jim Weber was born in Chicago, Illinois. He received his B.A. Degree in English and Education from Augustana College in Rock Island, IL and his M.A. in Educational Leadership from Chicago State University in Chicago, IL. Jim received his Doctorate in Educational Administration from Chicago State University in Chicago, IL with research in cognitive gender differences and small learning communities. He was awarded a Doctoral Fellowship for his research and creation of single gender small learning communities at Eisenhower High School.
Jim taught English at his high school Alma Mater, Mount Carmel High School (an all boys Catholic high school) in Chicago, IL for seven years and moved on to teach English, coordinate the Title I program, Dean of Students and Assistant Athletic Director at Eisenhower High School in Blue Island, IL. He worked for a year as the Dean of Students at Summit Learning Center, a special education alternative school in Crestwood, IL. Currently he is Dean of students at Richards High School in Oak Lawn, IL.
As a Gurian Certified Master trainer Jim has presented in Colorado, Chicago, Arkansas, California, Maryland, Ohio, Alaska and Philadelphia. He resides in Indiana with his wife Jacqueline and children: Jon, Marie and James.
