Mary Olszewski

Mary Olszewski, Executive Function Coach, The Lovett School, Atlanta, GA

 

Originally from Warren, Ohio, Mary earned her Bachelor’s in Middle-Level Education from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. Following her undergraduate studies, Mary continued her education at Duquesne. While earning her Master’s in Education (Reading and Literacy), she worked in the athletic department serving as the Graduate Assistant for Academic Support for the men’s and women’s basketball teams.

 

Mary continued working in collegiate athletics at the University of South Carolina and The Georgia Institute of Technology before coming to The Lovett School in August 2017. Mary was hired at Lovett as the Executive Function Coach; her work focuses on helping students develop brain skills and functions that can be used in the classroom as well as their daily lives. She works with students in several different capacities including one on one and whole-class instruction. Outside of her role as the Executive Function Coach, Mary teaches Latin and English and coaches varsity track and cross country.
