Tim Wright
Tim and his wife Jan have been parents since 1980, raising a daughter and a son. They are now the grandparents of 5 children, three boys book ended by two girls. Tim has been a Lutheran pastor since 1984 and is the author of SEARCHING FOR TOM SAWYER. Tim and Michael Gurian have created several rites of passage programs for secular and faith based families.
Tim enjoys riding his bike, traveling, rooting for the Arizona Cardinals and the Adelaide Crows (Australian Rules Football), British Mysteries, and working with parents and leaders on how to help our boys and girls thrive. Learn more about Tim at www.TimWrightMinistries.org
Michael Gurian
Dr. Michael Gurian is a marriage and family counselor in private practice and the New York Times bestselling author of thirty two books published in twenty three languages. As a social philosopher, he has pioneered efforts to bring neuro-biology and brain research into homes, schools, corporations, and public policy. The Gurian Institute, which he co-founded, conducts research internationally, launches pilot programs, and trains professionals.
Michael travels extensively to provide keynotes and consulting. He has spoken for the United Nations on violence against women; provided information on boys’ and girls’ educational needs to the White House; and briefed Members of the 114th Congress on the boy crisis in America.
