This video aired before the Covid outbreak and new BLM protests, and yet it feels, in some ways, even more relevant now.  As our culture works to understand the violence that is perpetrated on our youth, we are challenged to understand bullying, trauma, and violence in their own right, and also within the confines of sexual harassment and sexual assault.  As our culture understands sexual harassment and assault on females, we must do so with males, especially because of the frequency of violence that males experience.   Simultaneously, quarantines are affecting abuse rates, including sexual abuse non-reporting, among our children.  Michael Gurian hopes this book not only tells you a gripping story, but also inspires people around you to grapple with these themes and, ultimately, construct positive social change.
