We are in the midst of the COVID-19 lock down, spending a lot of time together, and discovering new ways of bonding and learning. At the same time, many of us are eating a lot of junk food because it provides easy take-out or delivery options. We and our kids eat that junk food together, and it lasts around the house for snacks. The family bonding is wonderful, but the junk food is just one area of neurotoxin intake about which we should still be vigilant.
Powerful new articles have come out on the toll environmental neurotoxins are taking on our children’s brains, especially in the United States. Our legislatures and corporations have done some work over the last decade to help us remove dangerous toxins from soil, air, water, and food, but a great deal remains to be done. In this blog post, we will help you be vigilant–to protect not only yourself but your children–by providing these articles and assets to you.
During our Gurian Summer Training Virtual Summit in June, we will be looking carefully at the brain and neurotoxins, as well. To learn more about our Virtual Summer Training and to register, please check: https://gurianinstitute.com/events/gurian-summer-institute-2020/. The early bird price for this virtual summit is only $225.00 and includes more than a dozen keynotes and workshops over five days.
Environmental neurotoxins do battle with normally developing brains, and so we must do battle with them. This is crucial at all times and even more crucial, some argue, as our bodies and brains also battle COVID-19. We need to stay as healthy as possible!
