The Gurian Institute has been providing and involved with Helping Boys Thrive® Summits for nearly ten years.  These exciting one day events are networking and learning opportunities for everyone in a community who is engaged with boys–teachers, parents, non-profit staff, counselors, pastors, and all other stakeholders.  People in the communities we serve tell us these Summits become “essential events” as they raise consciousness on boys’ development and present-day struggles, and provide exciting solutions.

Our next Summit in Phoenix, AZ is on Dec 2, 2021 followed by the Fatherhood Summit on December 3, 2021.  Both Summits are sponsored by M.A.N.C.A.V.E., Greater Phoenix Urban League, and Head Start of Phoenix.  GI team members Dr. Michael Gurian, Eva Dwight, Me.d., Marion Hill, M.A., Dr. Glynetta Fletcher, and Pastor Tim Wright will be among the speakers.  For more on the Phoenix event, check out https://helpingboysthrive.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/MC-Newsletter-Oct-21Final.pdf.
