When Michael and the GI team created the course, we did so in order to allow individual educators and others to purchase it individually to gain theory and strategies, while also providing a way for whole groups of teachers/staff to have a PD experience.  Happily, the course is being used in both ways now, with an increasing number of schools opening it up to the whole staff.

If you are looking for resources for your January Professional Development days or any PD days/hours in the new year, we hope you will consider this Course.  It is a great fit for both coed and single sex schools because it covers the learning and life needs of boys, girls, and the gender spectrum.  Once your organization or school purchases the course, GI sends a private link to your team that allows the course to be projected for the whole room if everyone is gathering there, or provided to every individual learner’s own device.

The content of the Course is divided into well-timed video clips that align with discussion questions and exercises in PDF form.  If your whole team is gathering in one room, a leader can navigate the video content and lead the exercises.  Or you can let the course be viewed without a leader as long as someone interrupts the projection in intervals to give reflection/discussion time.  Either way, the Course fits at least six contact hours of PD because all of its content in various modalities.
