After graduating in 2001, Mrs. Oliver spent much of her career in Anne Arundel County Public Schools as a teacher, Department Chair and Instructional Coach. Her greatest passion is youth development. She currently teaches 8th Grade U.S. History at Samuel Ogle Middle School in Prince George’s County Public Schools. Where she also serves as the 8th grade Team Lead and Social Studies Chair. She maintains contact with many of her former students and strives to connect with any young person she comes in contact with. She is the proud mother of 3, two sons, 14 and 16 and a 19-year-old “bonus” daughter. She believes all young people are capable of success and achieving greatness, with the support of loving adults.
